SamSaidYes Data Policy
Date of last revision: May 2018
Along with providing members with safe and secure ways to share personal media content and to collaborate with others to create media content, samsaidyes.com with its mobile applications is committed to protecting our user’s privacy.
That’s why all of your media such as images and photos will be stored on certified Amazon servers only. We have no intention to share your media with third parties or use it for own purposes.
Is personal information about me secure?
We invest a lot of resources in keeping your account information secure. We encrypt information you share with us using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We also use automated and social measures to enhance security such as analyzing account behavior for fraudulent or otherwise anomalous behavior.
Your account is protected by a password. Therefore we ask you to prevent unauthorized access to your account by selecting a strong password. And by never sharing your password with others. To collect and share your media with your guests you get a unique event ID and a QR-code. Be careful when sharing this information as anyone with this ID can join your event as a contributor and see the uploads.
What kind of information do we collect?
1. Information you provide
When you create an account, we receive and store your email address, your password and your event date. Your Password is stored in an encrypted way so that it is not possible for us or anyone else to see it. If possible, we also automatically receive and store the country from which you are visiting our website based on your IP address to personalize our services.
Any Media you upload on SamSaidYes will be stored on our secured servers. You can control who can see it by sharing your EventID or QR Code only with people you choose. We have no intention to share or use this media for marketing purposes.
2. Information your guests provide
We do save media other guests are uploading about you and your event in order to make it available for you. Every kind of media can always be deleted by the event administrator. Once deleted it will disappear from our servers.
3. Information about payments
If you choose to upgrade your account, we collect the information about the purchase or transaction required to purchase. Payment transaction will be processed by Stirpe Inc. To ensure the adequate protection of personal data, Stripe has certified to the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework.
4. Device Information
We collect information from or about the computers, phones, or other devices where you install or access our Services, depending on the permissions you’ve granted. We may associate the information we collect from your different devices, which helps us provide consistent services across your devices and make sure the app works across most part of the devices on the market. This information is always collected in an anonymized way and is extremely helpful to improve the app on all devices.

How is this information shared
1. People in your event

In some cases, guests may download, take screenshots or re-share this content with others on 3rd party plattforms other than SamSaidYes. If their audience is public, the shared content will be available to everyone. We ask our users to share the event ID consciously and selectively.
